Workshops

Laurel’s No 23 workshop is full, others can take registrations.

Tours:   Afternoons only  

There is quite an interest in Tours BUT the Taieri Historical Museum is only open on Wednesday, hence, it is a Farewell to Dunedin rather than a Welcome.  
Most are “Blokes” tours but are very interesting for anyone.  
At this stage there is no minimum  number required but would like at least 10 for a tour to go ahead.

Wednesday 10th June   -    
If there is not enough interest in this tour, it may be cancelled for the Friday tour.

Travel to Outram Glen, visit Taieri Historical

Return to Mosgiel Junction - visit Oliver’s Machinery Museum  - Entry  ?

Bus cost per person $10

Trade stalls at Festival will include: Adobe Alpacas, Milton Mill Shop, Ashfords, Alhoma Hayward, Shona Schofield, others still to confirm,  and Creative Fibre will have a display.

Otago Settlers Museum Toitu  - Entry cost free

Speights Brewery Tour 4 p.m. (1.5 hour tour)  Entry cost $28 Senior $25 per person Bus cost per person $10

Friday 12th June

Farewell to Dunedin Bus tour approx. 100km   -   Cost $15 per person.    Travel 3 Mile Hill, Baldwin St, University Clock Tower, past new Stadium, Railway Station, Rotary Park, Centre Road, Beaches via Esplanade, Unity Park, Town Belt, Otago Boys, Moana Pool, Olveston, Princes Street, Octagon, George Street, return to Mosgiel via Southern Motorway.

The venue is as before: The Reece room of the Chapel Street Methodist Church (Cnr Harewood Road and Chapel Street), time 10.15am- 3pm.  Shared finger food lunch .The church is going to be demolished and rebuilt next year but that will not affect the separate Reece Room although the amount of parking on site will be reduced but there is plenty of on-street parking.
